What the course is
Slowspan is an informational workbook about a category of computer game. It is general information written for a wide readership, and it is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, not financial, not technical and not security advice — and it is not tailored to your circumstances. It is not accredited training. There is no enrolment, no assessment, no certificate and no qualification, and nothing on this site should be described to anyone as a course you have completed in any formal sense.
Accuracy and change
The course is written carefully and reviewed at least twice a year, but product details in this field change constantly: system requirements, prices, shop contents, terms of service and account settings are all altered by the companies that publish games, often without notice. Anything stated here about a specific product is limited to what its vendor or the affiliate network states, and may be out of date by the time you read it. Check the vendor's own current information before you rely on it or spend money.
Where this site links to an Australian government body, that body's own published material prevails over any summary of it here.
Third-party sites
This site links to websites operated by other people, including an affiliate link described on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Those sites are outside our control. We do not endorse them, we are not responsible for their content, their terms, their pricing or what they do with information you give them, and following a link means leaving this site and entering an arrangement with somebody else.
Using the material
You may read the course, print the checklists and use them for yourself, your household or a class you are teaching, including making copies on paper. You may not republish the text as your own work or present it as being produced by anyone other than Hidden Assets s.r.o. The text and layout are protected by copyright, which we are happy to licence for other uses if you ask.
Availability
We make no promise that the site will always be reachable. It may be unavailable during maintenance, a hosting fault or anything else outside our control, and pages may be changed, moved or withdrawn.
Liability and your rights under Australian law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that the Australian Consumer Law or any other law confers on you and that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law permits, Hidden Assets s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from anything you do or decide after reading it, including decisions about which games to install, what to spend, or what to agree to with a third party. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the material or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where Hidden Assets s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction over disputes about them. That choice does not displace consumer protections available to you under Australian law, or under the law of the country in which you ordinarily reside, where those protections apply regardless of a choice of law clause.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the effective date above is updated. The version published here is the one that applies.
